About
Charlotte practices from a person-centered, trauma-informed perspective. Compassionate, open-minded, and non-judgmental, she uses the therapeutic relationship to nurture a safe environment for clients to share their stories and have their personal experiences validated. Charlotte believes that understanding the individual needs of clients is essential in collaboratively supporting their healing and growth.

Charlotte draws from multiple therapeutic frameworks including strengths-based, solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her areas of practice include depression, anxiety, grief, suicide ideation, and non-suicidal self-injury. She is also well-versed in vegan nutrition and is fully supportive of holistic and lifestyle approaches to health and mental wellness.

Charlotte has a Master’s of Education in Counselling Psychology, is a Canadian Certified Counsellor, and has undergraduate degrees in arts, education, and special education. She has extensive experience with the education system both as a special education teacher and as a parent, and has a strong understanding of many related issues, having lived and worked in various settings across Canada.
